Lexi Logan’s Bellwether

  June 21st through July 28th 2025

This series navigates the fragile dance of power and compliance, ritual and humor, through vivid, fractured compositions.

Figures in military dress and tender domestic roles cross paths — standing at attention and dissolving into color, their forms both authoritative and vulnerable. Each piece grapples with the tension of being watched or being seen, creating a space where vulnerability and humor meet in vivid color and layered gesture. Through vibrant color and layered figures, the show interrogates the uneasy dance of authority and vulnerability — military uniforms meld with childlike postures, ritualistic gestures dissolve into humor and memory.

BELLWETHER is a surreal dive into shifting roles and private performances — a stage for both reverence.

Lexi Logan explains the origins behind the title of the show Bellwether.
